Albert Conforzi Lawyer

Since being called to the bar in 1985, Albert has honed his legal attention on civil litigation, with a focus in personal injury. Albert has conducted trials, both jury and non-jury, and Appeals before the Division Court and Ontario Court of Appeal as well as frequently appearing in proceedings at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) and other tribunals.

 

In 2002, Albert received a Certified Specialist in Civil Litigation designation from the Law Society of Upper Canada. Albert has been recognized in the American Publication Martindale-Hubbell for his legal ability and ethical standards. Albert was recently elected to the Board of Trustees of the Toronto Lawyers Association.

 

Albert has been asked to participate in professional education programs put on by The Advocates' Society, The Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, The Canadian Institute, and the Canadian Bar Association (Ontario). Albert participates in many outside activities including numerous programs to educate the public regarding auto insurance. He also assists health care practitioners in managing the interface between the medical profession and the Insurance Act requirements.

 

Albert’s other activities include a two year term as Chair of the Bar Dispute Forum Group at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, being a past member of the Executive of the Insurance Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association (Ont.), and a past editor of the Insurance Law Memo.
